Who I am, What I do, and Why I do this work:

I’m a social worker with a private therapy practice specializing in treating anxiety and trauma in Columbus, OH. I offer clinical and community workshops on emotional wellness and have a passion for helping people reconnect to themselves, change how they view self-care, and find their way to wellness.

I do this work because after over 15 years and hundreds of therapy sessions, I still get goosebumps when I see someone on the verge of a deep realization or making significant changes in their patterns. I believe that everytime someone walks the path toward a more empowered, fulfilling, and whole-hearted life, we all take a step in that direction. I can’t fix everything in this world, but my small therapy practice will always be my contribution toward collective healing.

Clinical Information and Qualifications:

I take a holistic and well-rounded approach to therapy and prefer to view my clients as a whole person rather than just a diagnosis or set of symptoms. I have a wealth of clinical training and experience (see below for details), but believe strongly that an individualized and collaborative approach to therapy is what creates the most growth and healing for my clients. I always prioritize our therapeutic relationship over adherence to any model of therapy.

I have had in-depth training, consultation and experience in the following evidence-based treatment modalities:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Multi-systemic Therapy

  • Integrative Family and Systems Treatment

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention
