It is no secret at this point that meditation is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety, respond to trauma triggers, or take a moment to turn inward toward your Self.
Sitting in silence, however, is just not for everyone, and that’s OK.
Personally, I need some prompts to continue focusing on my self and body when I try to get quiet; I have found that a lot of my clients do, too. This body scan guided meditation is one of my favorites to use in session or when I need a little reset myself.
